I am Jenny Huang, founder of Language for Life NZ and head English and Chinese tutor of Language for Life NZ online school. I have a Master in Educational Psychology and have been an ESOL tutor for 7 years. My teaching experiences include 3 years teaching in Japan (both privately and in international schools), 2 years teaching migrants and refugees at PEETO (multicultural learning school in Christchurch) and 5 years of teaching online. I have taught students from around the world and different age groups. I am very passionate about teaching and language learning. I am fully bi-lingual in English and Chinese Mandarin. In addition to these 2 languages, I am also self-taught basic Spanish and Japanese. As a language learner myself, I am highly aware and in tune to students’ language learning needs. With my Educational Psychology background, I specialize in student centered teaching and learning approach. Here at Language for Life, you will get teaching materials designed and made for you and your learning needs only. I do not use textbooks as languages are not lifeless words. They are meant to be lived and used in daily lives! That is why my school is called Language for LIFE!
